Swirls, Scratches, And Oxidation Machine-Polished Out Of Your Clear Coat For A Truly fresh Finish.
See What Your Paint Actually Looks Like.
Paint correction is machine polishing that removes swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and oxidation from your clear coat. Instead of hiding defects under a filler that washes away, we level them out of the paint itself, so what you’re left with is real depth and gloss that was there all along.

How we bring out the best in your paint
A paint correction reveals the gloss hidden under years of fading, scratches, and everyday wear.
We Inspect the Paint
Every panel gets checked under correction lighting and measured for clear coat thickness, so we know exactly what’s safe to remove and what’s realistic to fix.
Then We Wash & Decontaminate
A full wash, clay, and chemical decon pull out embedded contaminants first, so we’re polishing clean paint instead of grinding grit into it.
After That, We Machine Polish
Compounding levels the clear coat to remove swirls and scratches, then we refine the finish down to true, filler-free gloss.
Finally, We Inspect & Protect
A final check under lighting confirms the correction held, then we recommend a coating or sealant to lock the results in.
Lock in the finish with a ceramic coating
Correction removes the defects. A ceramic coating keeps them from coming back, adding years of gloss, protection, and easier washes.
Common Paint Correction questions
What is paint correction, exactly?
Paint correction is the process of machine-polishing your clear coat to remove the defects sitting in it: swirl marks, light scratches, water spots, and the dull haze that builds up over years of washing. We work through cutting and polishing stages to level the surface and bring back the gloss and clarity that the defects were scattering. It is not a product you wipe on, it is careful, hands-on work with a machine polisher, done in stages until the finish is right.
Will it remove every scratch?
Not every one, and any shop that promises that is not being straight with you. Correction removes defects that live in the clear coat, which covers the large majority of swirls and light scratches. If a scratch is deep enough that you can catch it with a fingernail, it has gone through the clear coat, and cutting all the way down to remove it would take too much material to be safe. We will get those to look dramatically better and be honest about the few we cannot fully erase before we start.
How long does paint correction take?
It is a full day of work in most cases, sometimes more, because it is done by hand in stages and there is no shortcut. A lighter single-stage polish on a well-kept car is faster than a multi-stage correction on paint that is heavily swirled and neglected. When we assess your paint we will tell you which level it needs and give you a realistic time and drop-off plan rather than rushing it.
Is it better to coat over the correction?
Yes, and we usually recommend pairing them. Correction gets your paint to its best, and a ceramic coating locks that finish in and protects it from going back the same way. Correcting and then leaving the paint bare means the swirls slowly return with normal washing. If you are investing in correction, sealing the result is how you make that work last.
Can you fix oxidized or faded paint?
Often, yes. Oxidation is the dull, chalky layer that forms as paint ages in the sun, and cutting that back is exactly what correction does, so faded single-stage and older finishes can come back to life in a big way. The honest limit is paint that has failed down to the primer or is clear-coat peeling, because at that point there is no good surface left to polish and it becomes a paint job, not a correction. We will look at yours and tell you which side of that line it is on.
