2023 Honda HR-V Sport: Full Detail, Clay Bar and Wax

Urban Gray Pearl is a flat, low gloss color that tricks people into thinking it has no shine in it, and this HR-V Sport is the kind of car that proves otherwise. We ran it through a full decon wash and then clay barred every panel, which on a gray car is always the moment the owner realizes how much fallout the paint was holding while still looking clean from ten feet away. The gloss black mirror caps and window trim got handled on their own pass, since those pieces show swirling far more than the body does and need a lighter touch. The interior came out just as detailed, working the honeycomb vent trim and the stitched seams on the Sport interior, and we finished the outside with a hand applied wax that put actual depth into the gray instead of leaving it flat.
